Varian Medical Systems, located in Palo Alto, CA is a leader in the fight against cancer. With projection in growth and new hires, Varian wanted to retain experienced talent. In order to do this, The Bridge Group was hired to be onsite full time to support their new design strategy, change management and relocation of employees. We participated in design, construction, planning, execution and executive buyoff. The new workplace experience involved planning with designers, architects, construction and move teams. The Bridge Group managed the build out of the new space and executed a move consisting of 1200 employees and 50,000 square feet of labs. We worked closely with the lab owners, IT and security to determine phasing of product launch while coordinating movement around time sensitive production time.
