The Bridge Group provided move management and decommissioning services for the relocation of a confidential pharmaceutical company’s headquarters. The scope included decommissioning and relocation of office space, labs, manufacturing spaces, shipping and receiving, and storage areas. The Bridge Group Team developed and managed schedules and budgets for this project and coordinated with internal teams and external vendors. The team led weekly meetings with each lab group to determine needs of the business and set expectations, and established a communication strategy to ensure all stakeholders were kept up to date on progress. This project featured sensitive equipment and The Bridge Group coordinated with lab owners and vendors to disconnect the equipment, prepare for transport, and install at the new location. This project had complex decommissioning requirements that included sustainable FF&E liquidation. During this project, construction was delayed and the move-in date and ability to use the new space was impacted, with no option to extend occupancy at the former location. The team coordinated closely with the client points of contact to determine what equipment needed to be relocated to a temporary location, what equipment could be temporarily warehoused, and what technologies needed to be online to continue operations.
